FIELD: textiles, paper.SUBSTANCE: sewing device comprises two housing elements, the support seat and the striker plate. The housing elements which may be interconnected, have the front ends forming the front plates adjacent to each other. Two housing elements are connected with the ability of rotation with the handle which is pressed down, which is selectively pressed down. The support seat is mounted on the front end of the inner space of the two connected housing elements. The support seat has a front surface which defines, together with the inner surfaces of the front plates of the two housing elements, the channel for the striker plate. The striker plate slides in the channel for the striker plate. The striker plate is selectively pulled by the handle pressed down to move upwards.
