Disclosed are a method of registering the use of a mobile terminal, which supports an NFC function in a simplified method, to an image forming apparatus and an image forming apparatus using the same, a method for requesting to register the use of a mobile terminal which supports the NFC function in a simplified method, and a mobile terminal using the same. The present invention enables a mobile terminal to be registered to an image forming apparatus without manager′s assistance when performing a near field communication through an NFC-tagging.
