PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in size of a control device for a vehicle.SOLUTION: A control device 30 for a vehicle includes: a secondary battery 6; a drive motor 11; rear tires 15 rotationally driven by the drive motor 11; and an intermittent mechanism 40 capable of connecting/disconnecting torque transmission between the drive motor 11 and the rear tires 15. Also, the control device 30 for a vehicle includes: a smoothing capacitor 33 for smoothing electrical power inputted from the power supply 6; a drive circuit 32 for driving the drive motor 11; a drive circuit 36 for driving the intermittent mechanism 40; and a microprocessor 31 for controlling each of the drive circuits 32, 36. Then, when it is determined that there is collision of a vehicle, the microprocessor 31 operates a switch 34 into an OFF state so as to cut off the secondary battery 6 with respect to each of the drive circuits 32, 36, and performs a reverse rotation command with respect to the clutch drive circuit 36 so that a clutch CL comes into an open state. |
