<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve measurement accuracy and measurement efficiency of biologically generated gas. <P>SOLUTION: A biologically generated gas detection device 1 has: a first chamber 50 which accumulates gas generated by a living organism and is provided with a first atmospheric release valve 56 to switch between an atmospheric open state and an atmospheric cut-off state of the first chamber 50; a second chamber 60 which is connected to the first chamber 50 and is provided with a second atmospheric release valve 66 to switch between the atmospheric open state and the atmospheric cut-off state of the second chamber 60; and a chamber connection valve 70 which is arranged between the first chamber 50 and the second chamber 60 to switch a connection between the two chambers. By forcibly flowing the gas between the first chamber 50 and the second chamber 60 through a circulation mechanism 80 while switching the valves, the gas is measured by a gas sensor 90. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
