<p>A method of rating content e.g. by giving it a score out of ten by moving or shaking a device e.g. a phone or tablet. The content to be rated 401 may be displayed on the device. Motion sensors e.g. an accelerometer or gyroscope incorporated in the device identify a specified motion associated with a rating. The rating may be determined based on speed of motion. The device may have a rating setting mode which must be enabled before the user can use the motion of the device to set a rating. The rating may be displayed 403 on a screen 400 of the device and the user may verify or adjust the rating 402 before submitting it 404. The user may be able to launch an app to include user generated content such as an image, audio or video file with a rating. Other users may use the same app to rate the post. The device may provide a prompt indicating an option to rate is available.</p> |
