The present invention relates to a brazier roaster using a pottery wherein meat is cooked using charcoals inside a pottery to prevent smoke from spreading around and a far-infrared ray emitted from the charcoals or the pottery is used to soften meat texture and an easy use is allowed on tables at a restaurant as well as outdoors, the invention comprising: a pottery member (10) having holes (11) on bottom; a heating unit (20) for heating an interior of the pottery member (10) by using charcoals (25) and discharging ashes (26) through a discharger (22) installed on the holes (11) on bottom of the pottery member (10); a sealing member (30) for sealing a top opening (12) of the pottery member (10); a latch (40) for ensuring a grilling object (100) which is hung in a lower portion, positioned spacing apart by a given distance from the heating unit (20); a smoke discharge member (50) for discharging smoke generated inside the pottery member (10); a support member (60) for supporting the pottery member such that the bottom of the pottery member (10) is spaced apart from a table or the ground; and an ash receiving container (70) for receiving ashes (26) discharged from the discharger (22) and accessibly disposed in the support member (60).
