There is provided a drive power transmission device capable of transmitting drive power asynchronously with rotation of an input shaft. The drive power transmission device 10 includes a first rotation shaft 12, a second rotation shaft 14, an elastic member 18, and a vibration element 20. One end of the elastic member 18 is fixed to the second rotation shaft 14 at a position spaced from its central axis, while the other end of the elastic member 18 is fixed to the vibration element 20. The vibration element 20 is capable of being placed in either one of a first state of being connected to the first rotation shaft 12 and a second state of being disconnected from the first rotation shaft 12.
