<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving power generation efficiency of a thermal power generation system. <P>SOLUTION: A thermal power generation system 1 includes a thermoelectric conversion module 10 and a heat exchanging device 20. The thermoelectric conversion module 10 has first and second surfaces, and generates electric power by generating a temperature difference between the first and second surfaces. The heat exchanging device 20 includes a component adjoining the first surface. A plurality of through holes extending respectively in predetermined directions are formed in the component.
