The present invention relates to a liquid stabilizer composition for the stabilization of halogenated thermoplastic resins comprising at least one zinc salt of an organic acid, at least one organic phosphite ester and a solvent, a method for producing a liquid stabilizer composition, and the use of the stabilizer composition for the stabilization of halogenated thermoplastic resins. The present invention further relates to polymer compositions comprising a halogenated thermoplastic resin which is stabilized by the liquid stabilizer compositions, and a method for producing such polymer compositions.
