PURPOSE:To obtain a satisfactory cooling feeling during a window being opened, by controlling a compressor such that the compressor has a low capacity when the outside air temperature exceeds a predetermined value, and the capacity of the compressor is changed automatically into a large capacity opened when an window is opened. CONSTITUTION:During operation of a vehicle, when a capacity judging section 1 in a control device 10 determines that the capacity of a compressor 11 having a capacity control section 2 for changing the capacity of the compressor in two stages, is low, a window opening and closing control section 3 judges whether the temperature of the outside air detected by an outside air temperature sensor 4 is higher or lower than a predetermined value. If it is higher than the predetermined value, a window opening and closing detecting means 5 is caused to judges whether the window is opened or closed. If the window is closed, a low capacity signal is delivered to the capacity control section 2, but if it is opened, a large capacity signal is delivered to the control section 2. With this arrangement, when the window is opened, the capacity of the compressor 11 is at once changed into a large capacity to obtain a satisfactory feeling. |
