PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating apparatus configured to heat a belt for conveying a medium with an unfixed image formed thereon, by heat generated from a heating element which generates heat with power supplied, while preventing deformation of the heating element. ! SOLUTION: A heating element 583 is a heating member which generates heat by power supplied, and is arranged in a longitudinal direction of a fixing belt. A power supply section of a thin film to be supplied with power is arranged at a longitudinal end of the heating element 583, so as to protrude toward the outside of the heating element 583. A support member 61 supports an area A2 including a connection part A1 connecting the heating element 583 and power supply sections H3, H4 to each other, from a surface opposite a surface where the heating element 583 faces the fixing belt 51. !
