PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods and apparatus for providing backhaul communication signaling used shared spectrum and shared channels in a communications system.SOLUTION: A first base station 412 provides first backhaul information using a shared channel to a second base station 432. The shared channel is white space channels, Authorized Shared Multiuser (ASM) channels or an Instrumentation, Scientific, and Measurement (ISM) channels. The first base station further provides second backhaul information using a legacy backhaul channel. |
