PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting edge apparatus capable of easily replacing blades during propulsion construction and a propulsion construction method using the cutting edge apparatus. ! SOLUTION: The cutting edge apparatus has a cutting edge 7 which is attached to the front end of a box-like rectangular steel tube 6 and is propelled into the ground. The cutting edge apparatus includes: plural upper blades 11, lower blades 12 and side blades 13 which are capable of protruding from the front end of the rectangular steel tube 6 of the cutting edge 7 in a propelling direction and retreating thereto.
