<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrow signal light detection device which is hardly affected by disturbance, and which can stably detect a turned-off signal in the state in which a red signal light or the like is turned on, and a turned-on arrow signal regardless of the time zone.SOLUTION: An arrow signal detection section 14 sets a detection threshold SLs1 for detecting a turned-off signal light adjacent to a turned-on red signal light on the basis of an exposure time set by a camera control section 13, and sets turned-off signal light search areas Ay1 and Ay2 and arrow signal light search areas As1, As2, Av1, and Av2 on the basis of the size of the red signal light. Then, the arrow signal detection section 14 compares the detection threshold SLs1 with pixel luminance values G of the search areas Ay1 and Ay2, and sets a pixel luminance value greater than or equal to the SLs1 and indicating the minimum pixel luminance value as a basic arrow threshold SLG. Then, the arrow signal detection section 14 sets an arrow signal threshold SL1 on the basis of the basic arrow threshold SLG, and detects a pixel indicating a turned-on arrow signal light by comparing the arrow signal threshold SL1 with pixel luminance values G of the search areas As1, As2, Av1, and Av2.</p> |
