<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling system which reduces power consumption while properly performing cooling of a plug-in unit.SOLUTION: The cooling system cools the plug-in unit of an electronic apparatus including the plug-in unit on which an electronic circuit is mounted and a shelf which houses the plug-in unit. The cooling system includes: a fan which cools the plug-in unit; a wind speed sensor which is provided at the plug-in unit and detects a wind speed; and a monitoring part which stores wind speed information regarding the wind speed required for cooling of the plug-in unit in advance and controls the rotation speed of the fan on the basis of a comparison result between the wind speed required for the cooling and the wind speed detected by the wind speed sensor.</p> |
