The device for removal of snow and ice from pavements and road surfacing comprises a housing and an annular conical friction disc attached to the housing. In the central part of the housing on the radial thrust bearings the drive shaft is mounted. On the shaft a horizontal disc is rigidly fixed. On the horizontal disc at a small angle to its axis of rotation the bearing assemblies with the shafts are mounted. On each of the shafts at one end a friction drive wheel is fixed. At the other end of each shaft a cutting disc is mounted. In the lower part of the drive shaft a plate spring is mounted.
