The present invention is to facilitate operation of a lock rod in addition to suppress a crashing sound at a returning of a lever by an effective braking force in a stable and broad range. A lock device comprises: a lever (2) installed movable to a cover body so as to be converted from initial state into the operating state against an elastic support force or dead weight; lock loads (6, 7) slide moved in connection with a movement of the lever; and a braking measure (5) and in a lock device to lock a cover body to the body and convert the cover body into unlock by the movement of the lever, the braking measure (5) has a braking shaft (52) equipped with a gear (53), which is a rotary damper mounted so as to correspond to the movement center of this lever for the lever (2) to break the lever and lock load, and has an operating gear (3) to rotate the gear (53) engaged to the gear (53) of a rotary damper in the reverse direction of the movement of the lever (2) in connection with the slide movement of the lock loads (6, 7). |
