<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit for an internal combustion engine which can enlarge an operation range which allows premixed compression self-ignition combustion capable of suppressing generation of NOx and improving fuel consumption.SOLUTION: An ignition timing control part 23 successively controls an ignition timing so that the ignition timing is lagged, when a first combustion condition index reaches a predetermined upper limit of the first combustion condition index, and so that the ignition timing is advanced, when a second combustion condition index reaches a predetermined upper limit of the second combustion condition index.</p> |
