A method of indicating flow status of a first of a plurality of tubes of an olefin heater includes obtaining a set of pressure measurements from the tube over a period of time; determining a standard deviation of the tube, based on the set of measurements; obtaining a second set of pressure measurements from the tube over a second period of time; determining a second standard deviation of the tube, based on the second set of measurements; comparing the standard deviation and the second standard deviation to get a deviation change; determining an overall standard deviation of the plurality of tubes; determining whether the deviation change differs from the overall standard deviation by more than a predetermined limit; and responsive to a determination that the deviation change differs from the overall standard deviation by more than the predetermined limit, generating output indicating a flow status of the tube. |
