PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening device that can be made compact compared to conventional arts and that enables neighboring doors to be smoothly opened without feeling of abruptness.SOLUTION: A door opening device 60 of the invention comprises: a reduction gear train 83 for transmitting the drive power of a motor 82 while reducing the number of rotation of the motor 82; a reversible gear wheel 76 to which the drive power of the motor 82 is transmitted via the reduction gear train 83; first and second intermittent driving gears 78a and 78b for intermittently mating with the gear wheel 76 according to the rotation angle of the gear wheel 76; a first projection member 61a that protrudes toward a first door due to the drive power transmitted from the first intermittent driving gear 78a so as to push the first door to open; and a second projection member 61b that protrudes toward a second door due to the drive power transmitted from the second intermittent driving gear 78b so as to push the second door to open.
