PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which can provide excellent cleaning performance for a long period of time and can suppress the occurrence of lubricant memory even when a photoreceptor with a hardened surface layer is used and is electrified by a charging roller.SOLUTION: The image forming method includes an electrification step of electrifying a photoreceptor by a charging roller, an exposure step, a development step, a transfer step, and a cleaning step. The photoreceptor has a hardened surface layer on an organic photosensitive layer, and the hardened surface layer is made of a material in which a curing resin obtained by hardening a polymerizable compound with an acryloyl group or a methacryloyl group contains fine metal oxide particles. Toner for use in the development step is obtained by adding at least a first external additive comprising silica (SiO), a second external additive comprising a fatty acid metal salt, and a third external additive comprising polytetrafluoroethylene to toner base particles. |
