In a centralized control network including a plurality of software-defined network (SDN) switches, an address resolution system performs: a step in which an SDN control part for controlling the SDN switches receives an ARP request packet from a transmission host terminal; a step in which an address resolution protocol (ARP) control part checks if an MAC address corresponding to a destination IP address of the ARP request packet exists in an ARP table; and a step in which the SDN control part determines whether to broadcast the ARP request packet or not depending on the existence of an MAC address corresponding to the destination IP address in the ARP table.
