PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection device for an LED lighting part capable of detecting abnormality of an LED lighting part with a simple configuration without giving discomfort to a user.SOLUTION: An abnormality detection device for an LED lighting part includes: an LED lighting part which includes a light emission diode as a light source; a lighting instruction detection part which detects a lighting instruction of the LED lighting part; a lighting current supply part which supplies a lighting current for lighting the light emission diode to the LED lighting part; and an abnormality detection current supply part which supplies an abnormality detection current for detecting the abnormality of the LED lighting part at least including disconnection of the light emission diode to the LED lighting part. The abnormality detection device further includes an abnormality detection part which detects presence of abnormality of the LED lighting part on the basis of the supply state of the abnormality detection current within first detection time when the lighting instruction is detected and the abnormality detection current supply part supplies the abnormality detection current only for the predetermined first detection time before the lighting current supply part supplies the lighting current. |
