PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor with speed reducer capable of enhancing heat dissipation without enlarging the size.SOLUTION: In a motor 10 with speed reducer, a part of a heat receiving surface 52 (eaves 50) disposed on a gear housing 32 is overlapped with a worm 24 seen from the opening side of the gear housing 32. Therefore, the area of the heat receiving surface 52 can be enlarged comparing to an example in which the eaves 50 is omitted seen from the opening side of the gear housing 32. That means, comparing to the above example, the contact area for the heat receiving surface 52 with an undersurface 60A of a circuit board 60 can be enlarged without enlarging the gear housing 32 outwardly. As a result, the heat generated with a power system element 62 can be effectively received by the heat receiving surface 52 and is radiated from the gear housing 32 without enlarging the size of the gear housing 32. |
