Described are a wind-power installation and a hydropower installation, the main element of which installations is a surface in the form of a wing, the body of which is provided with a channel which connects opposing surfaces of the wing. Air or water is sucked into said channel, thus driving the rotation of a turbine and of a power generator connected thereto. The installation can be stationary or mobile.
