The present invention relates to: a synthetic wood material having a natural wood pattern on the surface thereof and enhanced scratch resistance and pollution resistance; and to a method for manufacturing the same wood material. The synthetic wood material includes: an inner layer (10) which is extruded by an extruder (110) to be molded; and a surface layer which is extruded by a subsidiary extruder (120) and an extrusion die (130) to be molded on an outer circumferential side of the inner layer (10). The surface layer (20) comprises: a base (21) formed on an outer periphery of the inner layer (10); and a wood pattern (23) that is formed by a color chip, which is included in a base compound used to form the base (21) and has a melting point higher than that of the base compound for forming the base. |
