FIELD: electricity.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. The magnet core (10a) of a current surge limiter comprises at least one first magnetic element (12) and at least second magnetic element (14). The magnetic elements (12, 14) are placed so that parallel grid of magnetic elements (12, 14) is generated. Each first magnetic element (12) contains soft magnetic material. Each second magnetic element (14) contains hard magnetic material. Each soft magnetic material in unsaturated state has higher magnetic inductivity than each hard magnetic material.EFFECT: reduction of losses for hysteresis and improvement of reliability due to reduction of magnetic flux through hard magnetic material in normal operation conditions.14 cl, 2 dwg |
