[Class 39 (ii)] [Also in Group XL (a)] To secure to a lamp or discharge device a cap 6 which has a rim 5 rendered elastic by means of saw-cuts 10, 11 and has depressions 4, 4a which snap into cavities 3 when the cap is slipped on to the neck 1 of the bulb 2, a strip or wire 12 is secured over the saw-cuts to destroy the elasticity of the rim. The terminal wire 14 is brought to the outside of the cap by way of saw-cut 11. As shown in Fig. 3, the strip may be cut from the rim. |
