PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive to a UHMWPE material for use in manufacturing a medical implant for imparting excellent response of body to the medical implant, by using a material selected from the group consisting of an anti-inflammatory substance, an antimicrobial substance, an antitumor substance, an antiviral substance, and/or a bone stimulant.SOLUTION: In an embodiment, the material is blended with a natural additive having excellent response of body such as anti-inflammatory properties, antitumor properties, and antimicrobial properties. |
