The present invention relates to a safety device for the string of a blind. According to the present invention, a safety device for the string of a blind is made from a material which is contracted when heated. The safety device comprises: a tube-type coupling part of which the upper side and the lower side are opened; a hot-melt adhesive; and a tube-type bonding part of which the outer circumferential surface is attached to the inner circumferential surface of the coupling part. The string stretching out vertically and having a certain cut portion has a top end and a bottom end having the cut portion therebetween and facing each other. The top end is surrounded with the upper side of the coupling part when inserted into the upper side of the coupling part through the upper hole of the coupling part, and the bottom end is surrounded with the lower side of the coupling part when inserted into the lower side of the coupling part through the lower hole of the coupling part. The lower surface of the top end and the upper surface of the bottom end are positioned to face each other at a distance. The coupling part has a fracture part having an artificially processed crack and directly surrounding a space between the top end and the bottom end. When heat at a certain temperature or more is applied to the outside of the coupling part, the coupling part are contracted to adhere to the outer surfaces of the top end and the bottom end, and the bonding part is cooled to be bonded firmly after melted. When the string connected to the upper side of the coupling part and the string connected to the lower side of the coupling part recede from each other at a certain distance or more by a load having a certain weight or more and applied to the string, a fracture started from the crack makes the fracture part cut. |
