The present invention pertains to a power drive unit, comprising a plurality of diagonal rollers (1a, 1b) arranged at a circumference around a central roller (2) axis (A) and each of the plurality of diagonal rollers (1a, 1b) having a respective diagonal roller axis (B1, B2), a first drive motor (8) coupled to a roller carrier (6) and configured to rotate the plurality of diagonal rollers (1a, 1b) around the central roller (2) axis, and a second drive motor (9) coupled to a gear carrier (7) and configured to rotate each of the diagonal rollers (1a, 1b) around the respective diagonal roller axis (B1, B2). The diagonal roller axes (B1, B2) are tilted by a common skew angle with respect to the central roller axis (A). |
