The present invention relates to an air volume control device of an internal combustion engine which increases the output of the engine, reduces smoke, and reduces fuel consumption by combusting fuel to be close to complete combustion through the control of air sucked when the internal combustion engine, such as a ship and a car, is operated. According to the present invention, the air volume control device of the internal combustion engine comprises: a housing installed in an air suction pipe and has a suction hole on one surface and an opening on the other surface; a suction fan installed inside the housing and selectively rotated by the air sucked through the suction hole to increase the rate of oxygen in the air; a rotational plate which has a suction control window corresponding to the suction hole and is selectively rotated on one surface of the housing to control the amount of air sucked by adjusting the size of the suction hole through the suction control window; and a control member which controls the rotation of the rotational plate to properly suck air in accordance to the changes in the environment. Therefore, the present invention is operated in a combustion state close to the complete combustion by simply controlling the suction of air in accordance to the surrounding temperatures and temperature changes; thereby improving fuel efficiency, reducing fuel consumption, and controlling the generation of carbon dioxide. |
