PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling apparatus capable of rolling a material to be rolled to a predetermined thickness at an advantageous cost with simple equipment having a pair of rolling rolls. SOLUTION: The apparatus for rolling the material 7 to be rolled having a constant length and width to a predetermined thickness comprises the rolling roll 1, a driving roll 2, a guide roll 3 and a controller 4. The rolling roll 1, the driving roll 2 and the guide roll 3 are annularly arranged to form an annular passage for rolling. The controller 4 controls the rolling conditions so that the material 7 to be rolled going circularly in the annular passage becomes a predetermined thickness.
