<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring an expansion property of a raw material of a cigarette or the like without performing a complicated work.SOLUTION: An expansion property measurement method includes steps of: irradiating a raw material sample with near infrared rays, and measuring a transmission absorption spectrum or a diffuse reflection spectrum; and calculating an expansion property estimation value from prepared analytical curves by using the transmission absorption spectrum or the diffuse reflection spectrum.</p> |
