<p>An internal combustion engine (1) having: a crankshaft (3); camshafts (37) that activate intake and exhaust valves; an auxiliary shaft (7), which rotates in an opposite direction with respect to the crankshaft (3) and is unbalanced so as to act as balancing countershaft; and a mechanical transmission (9), which receives the movement from the crankshaft (3) and controls the timing by causing the rotation of the camshafts (37) and, at the same time, causes the rotation of the auxiliary shaft (7).</p> |
