PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling apparatus for a superconductive cable which can be introduced through an efficient arrangement in a limited installation space.SOLUTION: A cooling apparatus (10) cools a superconductive cable (11) by supplying a circulated coolant and includes a reservoir tank (12) storing the coolant, a circulation pump unit (13) for force-feeding the coolant and a cooling unit (14) for cooling the coolant. The circulation pump unit and the cooling unit are housed within the reservoir tank to realize a compact cooling apparatus.
