<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device having high mechanical strength and excellent heat dissipation. <P>SOLUTION: An organic EL device 1 comprises an organic EL panel 2 on which organic EL elements are formed, a heat dissipation member (a heat dissipation sheet 51, a metal plate 52) including a heat dissipation sheet adhering to the organic EL panel 2 directly or via an adhesive layer and having thermal conductivity higher in the in-plane direction than in the thickness direction, and a pair of flexible film sheets (a first flexible sheet member 4A, a second flexible sheet member 4B) disposed to sandwich the organic EL panel 2 and the heat dissipation member, and holding the organic EL panel 2 and the heat dissipation member integrally by adhering thereto directly or via the adhesive layer, where at least one of them is transparent. The pair of film sheets are bonded to each other at the peripheral edge of the organic EL panel 2 while exposing a part (metal plate 52) of the heat dissipation member to the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
