摘要 A time-of-flight sensor device (100) generates and analyzes a high-resolution depth map frame (312) from a high-resolution image (302, 304, 306, 308) to determine a mode of operation for the time-of-flight sensor (106) and an illuminator (104) and to control the time-of-flight sensor (106) and illuminator (104) according to the mode of operation. A binned depth map frame (810) can be created from a binned image (802, 804, 806, 808) from the time-of-flight sensor (106) and combined with the high-resolution depth map frame (312) to create a compensated depth map frame (916).
