<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the high speed operation of complete erasure for a logical disk.SOLUTION: A disk array device comprises: an allocation control part for allocating a physical sector to a logical sector; and an erasure control part for erasing data written in the logical sector. Then, the allocation control part stores the logical sector and the physical sector allocated to the logical sector in association in a conversion table, and stores allocation information indicative of the allocation of the physical sector to the logical sector in an allocation table, and the erasure control part registers logical disk information specifying a logical disk whose erasure is requested in an in-erasure table, and specifies the physical sector allocated to the logical sector formed in the logical disk whose erasure is requested on the basis of the allocation table and the conversion table, and executes erasure processing to the specified logical sector.</p> |
