PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system which enables users to perform highly satisfactory communication by simple operations.SOLUTION: A game system 1 comprises game machines 3 and user terminal devices 4 which are connected to a network 5. The game machines 3 enable users to play games. The game system 1 provides a service for a user of the game machine 3 and another user of the game machine 3 to exchange messages via the network 5, and changes a content of a message to be transmitted from the user of the game machine 3 to the other user of the game machine 3 by referring to play data 51 and community data 52 which are acquired for providing users of respective devices 3 and 4 with a predetermined service different from the service for exchanging the messages.
