PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which prevents image defects, such as color misregistration, without reducing productivity.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: correction means which corrects assist torque derived by assist torque deriving means; and control means which controls a BLDC motor for driving a photoreceptor drum 100 and a BLDC motor for driving an ITB 108. The control means applies the assist torque corrected by the correction means to the photoreceptor drum 100, to control the photoreceptor drum 100 to be driven by the ITB 108. The assist torque deriving means derives the assist torque within a predetermined period immediately after a main power source is turned on. The correction means corrects the assist torque before the start of printing operation. |
