<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an electric water heater small in volume as a tank becomes compact since there is no loss of heating value from an electric heat generating body to a side face of the tank and heating value for directly heating a heat absorption tube is obtained by an organic latent heat storage material.SOLUTION: An electric water heater includes: a cylindrical tank 10; an organic latent heat storage material 2; a heat absorption tube 4 and an intake part 4b in which cold water flows; an outlet part 4d which is provided below the tank 10 and connected to the other end part of the heat absorption tube 4 to which water heated by heat exchange with the heat storage material flows out; an electric heat generating body 3 which is provided inside a spherical shape of the heat absorption tube 4 and molded in a channel shape so as to have its ends 3a fixed below the tank 10 so as to heat the heat storage material; a temperature sensor 5 which is fixed to an upper surface of the tank 10 and detects the temperature of the heat storage material; an electronic control device 6 which controls the output of the electric heating body 3 with the output of the temperature sensor 5; a shunting device 7 which is provided on the side of the intake part 4b of the tank 10; and a mixing device 8 which is provided on the outlet part 4d of the tank 10 and mixes hot water from the heat absorption tube 4 and cold water from the shunting device 7 together so as to obtain suitable temperature.</p> |
