The present invention provides a visual perception-based airplane landing assisting device. The device acquires a series of runway images, performs tilt angle (γ) correction on the original runway images, and calculates airplane height (&Agr;) according to the runway images and runway width (W) after γ correction. The device further comprises a sensor, which measures at least one gesture angle and accelerates image processing by using the gesture angle. A smartphone is quite suitable for being used as an airplane landing assisting device. |
