PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for an industrial vehicle that can keep a nearer operator safe and also assure the safety of an operator that the industrial vehicle suddenly approaches.SOLUTION: An alarm controller 31 transmits two alarm signals differing in signal level, and the first alarm signal is made lower in signal level than the second alarm signal and also set to be lower than a predetermined reception span (receivable level) of an RFID tag 36 even when amplified by a power regulator 43. Consequently, the RFID tag 36 at a position nearby a vehicle body 11 can receive at least the first alarm signal, and the alarm for approach of a forklift 10 is securely given with the first alarm signal at the position nearby the vehicle body 11. At a position farther than the position nearby the vehicle body 11, the second alarm signal is received so as to give the alarm for the approach of the industrial vehicle with the second alarm signal at the position farther than the position nearby the vehicle body 11. |
