PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate operation for removal from an ultrasonic probe while holding down the size of an outer shape of a puncture adapter.SOLUTION: A body part of a puncture adapter in this embodiment includes: a first part having a first width; and a second part having a second width smaller than the first width. First and second operation parts come close to each other on receiving the removal operation. First and second engagement parts are respectively formed integral with the first and second operation parts, and can be engaged with an ultrasonic probe. A first connecting part connects one end in the width direction of the second part with a position between the first operation part and the first engagement part. A second connecting part connects the other end in the width direction of the second part with a position between the second operation part and the second engagement part. In response to the close contact between the first operation part and the second operation part made by the removal operation, the first engagement part and the second engagement part are made far away from each other to thereby release the engagement.
