PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input system having coordinate smoothing means excellent in followability and fluctuation removability.SOLUTION: First smoothing means such as a low-pass filter and second smoothing means such as moving average are provided, the first and second smoothing means are initialized at a time point when a transition is made from a state where a coordinate of coordinate indication means such as an input pen or a finger cannot be detected in a coordinate input area to a state where it can be detected, and thereafter, while the coordinate of the coordinate indication means can be detected, the first smoothing means and the second smoothing means are applied in turn to the coordinate of the coordinate indication means. |
