PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device capable of achieving both focus detection and image quality enhancement.SOLUTION: An image pickup device includes: a first pixel, a second pixel, and a third pixel that share one unit of micro-lens; a first boundary disposed between the first pixel and the second pixel; and a second boundary disposed between the first pixel and the third pixel. When the charge amount of the first pixel is saturated, a first charge amount moving from the first pixel to the second pixel by way of the first boundary is more than a second charge amount moving from the first pixel to the third pixel by way of the second boundary.
