PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide member capable of lowering sufficiently a friction coefficient, when a protective film containing amorphous carbon and tungsten is formed on the surface.SOLUTION: A slide member 1 has a protective film 14 formed on a substrate 11. The protective film 14 is a film formed by adding amorphous carbon to tungsten, and the amorphous carbon is contained as much as 16-35 mass% with respect to the protective film 14. |
