Disclosed is mechanical equipment, comprising a control device (21), a power device (22) and a positioning device (23). A sensing component (231) of the positioning device (23) and components (232, 233) to be sensed are provided in the power device (22), and either the sensing component or the components to be sensed is/are provided on an output mechanism (221) of the power device (22), such that the component(s) can perform a periodic movement as the periodic movement of the output mechanism (221). Every time the sensing component (231) and the components (232, 233) to be sensed are in a predetermined opposite position, the control device (21) receives a sensed signal sent by the sensing component when the components (232, 233) to be sensed are sensed by the sensing component (231), and when the number of times of receiving the signal reaches a threshold value, the control device sends a predetermined control signal to a power mechanism (222) of the power device (22). By means of the above-mentioned method, it is possible to control the operation state of the mechanical equipment while reducing the probability of failure occurring in the equipment.
