PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method capable of obtaining an image having a favorable metallic luster.SOLUTION: The inkjet recording method of the present invention is an inkjet recording method for recording, by jetting, onto a recording medium by using a recording head, an ink composition including a metallic pigment, a metallic image onto the recording region of the recording medium and has the following characteristics. Particles of the metallic pigment are tabular in shape and possess coating layers on surfaces thereof. The average diameter of the particles within the ink composition is 0.5 μm or above and 2 μm or below. The total film thickness including the coating layer is 10 nm or above and 50 nm or below. The average stratum lamination number of the particles of the metallic pigment within the metallic image is at least 3 and 30 or less. |
